second accident, much more serious. 3 days in ICU on life support, 2 more days in recovery, then home. two months loss of memory and muscle control. Bike shattered and totaled. No riding for a while :/

Head trauma, chest trauma, almost paralyzed on one side. A year later, he still doesn't remember anything of the accident, the hospital, recovery or how bad he was. But he is more cautious now and yes, he is still riding ... but only after a full clean health checkup.

Two months after the accident we found his wrist was broken with a Scaphoid Fracture which required surgery. Again he healed well. And all this was 4 days after his sister tore her ACL & MCL in her knee, which also required surgery - it was a long, rough year but now everyone is healing and you learn to appreciate things you might have taken for granted ( :
